building 6, apartment 614, room D

So I’m back to blogging, and yes I am a where that it has been little over a year sense I have made a new post. Forgive me and let’s move on. The reason I have taken my pen up once again, well more like my laptop, is because my life got interesting. At this moment in my life I don't need look for something to write about, because I am living what I am writing about. Its my daily life which makes writing more fun, and I think it will make the posts more interest too.

It’s funny to read back at my old posts and see what I was thinking or what was important to me at that time. The truth is a lot has changed in a year... well I take that back, a lot hasn't changed, I just have. When a person changes then so does their life and my plan is to do a lot of changing and growing in this upcoming year as a freshman. Boom, yep that’s right, read that one more time, this girl has left the nest. All those years of flight training are over, and I took the jump and am flying on my own now. So far the flight has been pretty sunny.

I left home on Saturday the 18 and head up to Northwestern State University. My home for the next four year if all goes as planned, but if I am learning one thing about flying is that the weather changes and so does the flight plan. Anyhow, I moved in on the 18 to building 6, apartment 614, room D. Yep that is my humble abode for this year. I have to say, I like it so far. I put up pictures and posters, and filled it with all my stuff It’s fun to think I have a room to my own that I'm paying for it, but that might change when I actually get the bill. There’s a kitchen and a living room area and three other bedrooms which are filled with three other girls that so far rock. There’s Jessica, Alexis, and Tori ( I hope you all don't mind that I am putting you in here) there the roomies. The girls all know how this college stuff works, because there sophomores. To be honest that fact was a little intimidating at first, but sense then I have learned that there crazy. So it’s all good and they have made my first week fun and a lot easier. I am very thankful for them.

Now for the rest of college, I could go on and on about being a college girl and I have only been at it one week, but I really like it. I love the classes, the sitting with a new person every day at lunch, having my own PO Box, buying my groceries, finding my own directions, go where I please, doing what I want, and being my own independent self. I'm addicted to freedom, but don't get me wrong my parents trained me well. With freedom comes responsibility. No one here telling to do homework or telling me to eat my veggies. I have to pay the bills, if I'm lost I have to find my way there is no calling for help. I have to be smart about where I go and what I do. If I forget something that’s on me, and let’s not forget the going to bed on time. The truth is I did well this fist week and I have confidence that I will make it this Freshmen year without getting to many bruises, but then again maybe not.

Well that’s it for now, and this college girls hungry so I'm out to go get food. Later

Makeing mud pies in parole

So here I am sitting at the kitchen table with all the windows wide open and the doors propped ajar so that I can hear the beautiful symphony of the storm playing outside.  I love it when it rains not sure what it is but I really love the rain, in fact whenever it rains I have a good day which is weird because most people view the rain as a gloomy thing.  I remember as a kid being told that thunder was God rearranging the furniture and the rain is because he forgot to turn off the sprinkler.  I remember playing in the rain in my purple rain coat and pooh bear umbrella, splashing around in puddles.  We even have a home video of my parents catching me making mud pies in the flower bed which I was not to be doing. Lol My response to being caught was that I was making a pie for my husband. Lol I was such a cute kid. Cute as a button, I was.
I wish I could make mud pies now, but life has been rather busy in fact a little to busy to have time for mud pies.  In fact that is one reason I have not bothered to blog just have not had time, but several people have brought to my attention that they were waiting for the next blog. So tonight I have made time, I threw out what was not important like homework, and instead made blogging my priority.  So if I get bad grades I am blaming all those who asked me to blog.
So the topic of this blog is going to be about the biggest lie I have ever been told.  O ya it was a doosys and I fell for it like a mouse goes for cheese, or like a hawk for a mouse or like my brother for cheese.  In fact it was a lie that every senior in my class fell for, It was that senior year is the easiest year, happiest year, and favorites year of our high school career.  Whoever told that lie to us should be tied up, beaten, and then locked in a basement somewhere in… no wait they should be tied up, beaten, and then thrown in the Atlantic ocean where they are eaten by….nooo wait now I have got it they should be tied up , beat, thrown in a basement that’s filled with water, where sharks will eat them and jellyfish will sting them . OOOK kk so that a bit over the top but it the truth I was not prepared for all the responsibility, worry, stress, and other complication that come with parole.
O I bet I just lost you all there, let me explain why I have been calling senior year parole year.  See high school is like prison, you don’t have to worry about were your food comes from and you don’t have to worry about money because you don’t have to pay bills.  Your protected from the outside world and really have no idea what reality or the real world is like cause you have lived so long in those cement walls.  Cops are like teacher and teachers are like cops they keep you in line and try to influence the way you think or how you make decisions. You live the same routine over and over again and all your decisions are made for you.  the only worry you really have is your statue amongst the other inmates. I mean your goal is not to get shanked the back or punched in face.  Yep prison and high school are not that far apart, but then comes senior year.  The year before you truly become free, now you have a bit more freedom and in only a matter of time you will be completely free.  Now you have to worry about money cause our going to have bills and provide your own food, the outside world becomes very real, and you went from making no decisions to making life changing ones.  You no longer really care about those other inmates and what they think because your hope is in the freedom in the future.  You will either make it in society or be the person you want to be or there is the chance you end up in a real prison.  Hopeful that won’t happen to anyone.  My point is that senior year is the last step in childhood the moment that bar door flies open we take off and began the walk of adult hood.  No wonder we stress.
In fact stress is something that seems to be my companion these days.  The truth Is i find I have to make myself stop and go make mud pies.  See this year is our last year of childhood we better live it up.  So as much stress and decisions and responsibility’s we have, we can’t let this year go by without having fun.  So go make those mud pie or go to that football game or dance in your in your room like an idiot or prank someone or whatever it is.  Just remember to laugh and breath or that’s what I am trying to do this senior year.  Cause like that lie said this is the best year of our high school career and I still believe that part.

5 Guys and Trucker Hat

Well in my last blog I promised to tell a little more about were I work because everybody is dieing to know about it.  I mean I understand the suspense you have been feeling just waiting for this blog to come out. But don’t worry the wait is over, you can stop holding your breath, because I am here to tell you about it in such a way that you feel like you were actually there.  And I will be doing that by involving all of your senses and to help you feel what I feel as I enter that glass door. Which by the way I have to clean like 400 times a day because were not allowed to have finger prints on it and if you come in and touch that door be prepared to feel that glass door against you face. Because I will throw it against the door then drag your face across the door so that it makes that weird squeaky noise and your spit leaves a trail, but that’s not all I will then make you clean it up with the windex and towel. So buddie don’t touch that door.
Now if you are coming to work with me you will need to were the right outfit. You will have a Ketchup red shirt with jeans and a trucker looking red hat that has the company’s logo on it.  And the best part the hair net I love that thing.  I am going to start wearing them to school and around town I fact I love it so much I may never take it off.  JK I hate it.  Now the moment you enter the door your not going to touch you will have a smell of burgers and fries hit your nose.  This is not the good bbq smell that you smell on Sunday afternoon during the summer. No this is the smell is different because it is mingled with an over powering smell of grease.  But we will get back to the grease latter.
Your ears will hear music that is from the 50, 60, 70, 80, but if you work there long enough you will realizes there that its just the same playlist over and over again and you will start to sing along.  Yaya got to love memorizing new or well old songs. You will also here the clatter. Now this sound I actually like.   You here the register girls call orders back to the kitchen, you hear patties sizzling on the grill and the clanging off fries baskets be pulled out off the grease, there is that grease again.  You here shuffling of people running this way and that as they empty trash bins, wash dishes, fill the dressing table or putting on fresh gloves. You will hear the dressing people calling out the buns they need and the tops fpr that particular sandwich.  This clatter mixed with the clatter of the costumers buying and talking and the noise of the orders being called out “order number 55 is now READY!!!” makes for a very lively place. I like it.
Now you will head to the back and enter through the door the reads employees only, lucky u its going to be like a back stage pass to one of your favorite concerts, be excited for what lays ahead.  The first thing you will do is put on you red apron that way you wont rouen that amazingly hot red t-shirt.  And you will be greeted by all your fellow employees.  Since working here I have been called baby, sweet heart, hon, and dear more then 30 times a day and that is no exaggeration.  I work with so many kinds of people here and that happens to be my favorite part of working here. But we will talk about the people latter Now depending on the time of day you come in depends on what you do.  If its morning you began prepping for the day, if it’s the latter shift you just jump into the line.  Now the line is where people orders are made.  It is the kitchen of the restraint and its up on a stage so that people can watch their food get made. Depending on what station you have been trained to do is what you do.  I am a dresser so you can stand by me and I will show you haw it goes.  When a person comes through the door you place a bun on a grill that way it will be nice a toasty for them.  This is called working the bun grill.  This is the slowes part of the line so you have to be on the ball it is all so the hottest.  When I work this I sweat so bad that I can feel the sweat run down my back.  You have to make sure the buns are golden brown not black or cold but just write.  I have found that I know get excited when my buns our perfect and I show the other bun people and we have a little victory moment congratulating each other on such a nice looking bun.  When this happens you know work is what you do with most of your time. Now if you work what we call the bottom bun you grab the ticket tell the top bun person what condiments go on that bun and tell the bun person how many buns you need. Together as a team you crank out a couple thousand dressed buns ready for the patties on a Friday night.  O also you try doing that as fast as you can.  Its like a giant racing game, but don’t feel over whelmed. You will get it.  I mean look at me I was slow once, but now I am like queen fast dresser.  I mean you will never be as good as I am but you will be close.
Now for the people, I have to say that during training I manly just people watched.  You have your single moms, you college kids, your high schoolers, your lazy people, your people who take way to much pride in this job, you have hot guys, geeky guys, annoying guys ,old guys, you have party girls, and sweet girls, old girls, you have white, black, mexican, and asian, you have your pains in the butt, and those how work hard, and then there are there is the boss and managers like I said a lot  of different kind of people. And I get  to be friends with them all.
So I have shown you hearing, sight, smell, now there is just feeling and tast.  See for feeling your hands will began to hurt because they will become dry from all the washing and the gloves that you have to wear.  Your feet will hurt form standing one them and your no slick shoes may give you blisters if there new shoes.
Then there is taste and the only thing you taste will be that juicy burger.  In every bit you get the perfect amount of mayo, lettuce, tomatoes, ketchup, mustard, and whatever else you got one it.  The fries will be perfect not to crunchy not to mushy. And you will think to yourself this is amazing But enjoy it while you can, because in three days just looking at a burger will cause you to throw up.  And fries o you don’t even think about those puppies.
So now that you know why i am wearing this trucker hat, can I take your order? And would you like a drank and fries with that?

Brain Stalls

HAHAHAHAHa… HAHhahah.. hahah..haha..ha, I have to say that my life recently has been one of those moments.  You know one of those times were all you can do is laugh so you don’t cry.  You know the time when your mind kind of shorts out because you cannot believe that something just happened.  Or when life becomes so ironic that your brain stalls and you laugh like a total idiot, because there really is nothing else you can do.  Yep that has been my life for the last couple of weeks.  Hahah…ha

It seems like one after another my life was just a little more than my mind could handle.  The first ironic thing that happened is my new job, which by the way is a fast food place called Five Guys Burgers and Fries.  Why is this Ironic you ask? Well let’s just say that I swore never in a million years to work at a fast food place.  I always thought that anyone that worked at a grease kingdom (fast food joint) was lazy or desperate to get a job.   And I had boasted how I would never sink to working at one of those places.  Then I got the job.  I had no idea the job that i had apply for was actually fast food until the first day of training. At the moment I walked through the door and saw all those ketchup red shirts and trucker red looking hats my mind went through its first stall.  I remember thinking …nothing my mind had quite working, and all I could do was smile.  I had signed up for a job I never wanted.  But here is the funny thing in a matter of hours one of my biggest dreams come true.  I meet a girl with Lupus who understood everything I have gone through this year.  It is one thing that I have prayed for time and time again and God answered my prayed in a place I never wanted to be. Haha But the ironic thing does not stop there ooon this Job has grown me and shown me so many things that all I can do is laugh when they happen, but those story’s will be saved for another blog.  All I am going to say about my job now is that I am now contributing to America’s obesity and I love it.

Then came another sucker punch that caused me to go in to shock, and that would be our family’s move.  Now one fact that people who know me is that me and my family have moved every three to four year which has it good qualities and it’s not so good quality’s.  But it has defiantly contributed to the person I am today and for that I am very grateful.  Because I Rock lol.  So when mom and dad came to me and told me we would be moving again I have to say I was not surprised.   But the malfunction of the brain came when we learned we had to be out of our house two weeks before we could be in our new house. It was time to live like a gypsy, and bounce around to whoever would house us.  I have to say though I have come to kind of like it this experience.  See I am kind of living by myself and taking care of myself.  My family is staying somewhere else but I had to stay here so that I could make it to my job. But at the same time I kind of miss the family, but don’t tell them I said that or I will never live that down

The next moment I would say was the worst.  It began when I woke one morning to find my car gone.  Yes gone and no its not a joke.  I literally woke up to find my car gone, vanished, no more, disappeared.  It was like magic now you see it, now you don’t.  Only a magic trick would have been cooler because it was a trick.  This was not a trick my car was gone.  At first I could not believe it was gone.  I stood in the spot were I left and still expected to see it drive by or to see it down the street.  I even called for it like it was a dog hoping that my voice might cause it to come running back.  After about twenty min I head back I side called the cops and tried to wrap my mind on what happened.   I have to say the funniest thing about it was that the 20 min that it took me and my dad to posses what happened my mom had called all her family and was making a plan of what to do,  She was like wonder women with hoe fast she moved.  She was also deturmed to go find those who stole my car and give them a good tongue lashing.  Hahah I could just see my mom spotting my car, chasing it down, running it off the road, dragging the thief out of the car and letting him have it. Hahaha.  Luckily we held her back or those poor being would not have known what hit them.

Since then we have found me car with several scuff marks and thing stolen out form it, but I have wheels again and not everything was stolen so I am grateful. And I may have made a new friend with the person that found my car. So things turned out good, But I have to admit I am kind of on the lookout for what else is going to happen, because if anything my summer has been far from boring.  Though I am hopping the next thing that causes my mind to stall is a good thing. So to end this blog a piece of advice,  Whenever that brain of yours stalls, just relax and breath and try to enjoy the experience, because it’s not the end of the world and it going to turn out okay.

Why yes, I have superpowers..... Don't you?

Superpowers have been an idea that has fascinated mankind for as long as we can remember.  I mean every child has gone through the super hero stage at one point in his or her life.  You know what I am talking about the stage when you grab that bathroom towel off the hook, and pin it around your neck with a clothes pin, you then proceed to find a pair of underwear that you were on the outside of your pants.  The final touch is to find a mask to hide your secret identity.  And if anyone asks what your name is you tell them that you’re the Fantastic T or whatever name it was that you came up with. Yes, we have all been there, but unfortunately life causes us to grow out of that stage. And eventually that costume gets put away.
Today my brothers found the old x men cartoons online.   When I was little those cartoons were my favorite.  I had the names memorized and knew all the stories and in the playroom I became one of them.  I remember one Christmas, at a family reunion, I found out that my cousins also had a great love for the x men evolution team, and we spent every minute watching the shows and playing superhero.  Today, as I watched these cartoons, memories came flooding back, and it made me laugh to remember the bad guys that we fought with our inhuman powers.  But like I said before, life tends to grow you up in a way were you can no long pretend to be a superhero.  Well most grow out of it :)
Now you don't need to worry I don't were the towel and underwear costume anymore, but my dad does. And that’s a scary sight. Jk hahaha But seriously I still find myself wishing for those superpowers.  For instance, I have wished to simple vanish from people or life with the superpower invisibility.  Then when drama comes or I long to understand what is going on the desire to read minds comes along.  Flying is another power I wish I had especially when I want to escape life for a while.  I also thought it would be super cool to be able to transform into whatever I wanted. I could pull so many cool jokes with that.  List goes on and on, I'm always wishing for some sort of power or crazy ability, especially when I am feeling helpless or hopeless.
I think we all tend to be that way, always wishing for a little more power to get through whatever it is that were facing, because if we had inhuman power we could do those inhuman things.  We could be heroes and is that not something we all desire.
I remember asking God why he did not give us humans superpowers or maybe he did and there all just in hiding, but as I got to thinking about it, I had to smile, because even if we did have superpowers we would still us the excuse of not being powerful enough when it came time to face that impossible thing.  Or life would be insane because we would all have too much power for us to handle.  I mean Spiderman said it best when he gave us the quote" with great power comes great responsibility" I am pretty sure there would be a bunch of people who would not be responsible with their powers.  But then I went a little deeper, who says that God has not given us superpowers.  Maybe we do, I mean God is the most powerful being there is and he is our father so maybe because of him we can pull off some pretty inhuman moves.  I mean most Christians would say that if one allows God to work through them then miracles can happen that crazy dreams can come true.  To be honest I am still learning if I believe this or not.  But one thing is for sure and that is every superhero has to practice and work at his power.  And every superhero has to lose battles before he can win them. It is not any different from us.
Wow I just took a fun subject and made it really serious lol.  Guess it just been something on my mind lately.  I mean learning that I can shoot fire form my hands has been a hard thing for me to grasp.  But now that I have joined a group of others like me I feel I too can become a hero.

Ps.  Watch for the Fantastic T because she might show up on TV while being a hero.
Pss.  Fantastic T is also me for anyone out there that might be a little slow :)

Am I really a Senior

I know, I know, it has been months since I have last blogged, but you got to cut me some slack these past few months have been the busiest of my Jr year.  It has been one thing after another, and now that school is out and summer has begun I can start blogging again.  And hopefully it won't be three months between postings.
I am pretty bummed that I did not blogged during that time because I had lots to write about, I mean there was work, prom, exams, hanging with friends, drama, problems, sunburns, bike rides, plans, family visits, job hunting, ring ceremony, and a whole lot of other stuff that is super interesting, but to tell you all about it would cause me to end up writing a book. So I will stick to writing about summer and the joy in bring to the little children.
I got out of school on May 28, but my brain checked out about a week before that, which was quite inconvenient because I had exams. So I am blaming the grades on my unreliable brains.  Those last weeks of school were crazy because the seniors were gone and we jrs were now the top dog.  i mean we got our senior rings, senior privileges, and when someone asked you what grade you were in you now said "I 'm a senior".  We even got this big ceremony thing in chapel were we got out of our jr chairs and moved to the senior chairs. Can you believe that senior chairs! Now my life is complete.( I am being sarcastic) Then during that week of exams your pretty much are walking zombie, because it is that week when summer and school overlap.  You study half the time and the other half is spent swimming, friends, and baseball games.  It is when your itching to be done with this year, to be able to put that ugly uniform in the back of your closet and not have to look at it for seventy five days.  When summer is running before saying “come get me, your so close, if only you can catch me" but school is a giant lead ball chained to your foot and its keeping you from your summer.  So you have to unchain it and the only way to do that is by finishing those exams.  But once your free you run like you have never run before and you grab that summer in a head lock and nothing in the world could cause you to let go. Or that was how summer use to be, but this year was a little different.  Because as i was in that sprint to catch summer, i realized that I only have one more year with that stupid ugly uniform and that next year at that time I will be setting out on the adventure of a life time. Not chasing after summer but after my future.
It reminds me of a song were the girl sings when will my life began. Because so many time we tell our self’s that once I graduate my life will really began.  Ever kid in school has this thing in them that is waiting for that graduation day.  It is what were all working towards, but we never really think that someday, that we will actually get there.  But your jr year, you relies, that yes you will get there in fact you see that finish line.  And normally when you would be sprinting towards summer you actually slow down because you realizes that every moment you get in high school should be treasured, because you’re running out of moments.
So summer finally came and I was busy with getting another job for summer, moving to a new house, art classes, summer reading, and a tubing trip with my class.  And I have only been in summer for four days yep this is going to be a busy one.  But not even a busy summer can distract me from the fact that I only have a year, and I am not the only one thinking this.  As I talk to other jrs o wait i meant seniors. I keep hearing the same thing.  It seems like many of use are rethinking a lot of things.  Did i spend these four year how I wanted to, do I want these to be my friends or will they care when we are in college, what do I really want to do with my life, my time is valuable so how should I spend it this summer, and a whole lot of deep and scare thought seem to be going through all our minds.  When I talked to my mother she just smiled and said it was a sign that we were maturing, but that was just another sign to me that we were getting closer to the finish line. It is crazy to think how far we have come, and in a matter of months we will be setting out.

So i guess I better enjoy my last few moments, and grab every day.  Well time to sign off because a bowl of lucky charms are calling my name.

Detention

The definition of detention is the action of detaining someone or the state of being detained in official custody.  It is the curse that has plagued human kind since the cave man days.  I mean my generation has had to have it, my parents and grandparents had it, Napoleon had it on the small island of Elba, and it even goes as far back as the bible times.  I mean think of all the people who were thrown in to prison or aka detention.  If you ask anyone and they could tell you what detention was and a story of them experiencing it.  I mean if you were to ask a six year old they could give a definition.  That’s just not right people, it just not right.  Now your probably wondering why in the world I am going on like this, well i got a detention this week for the first time in my life.
I remember as a child watching TV shows or movies of people getting detentions and thinking it would be so much fun to be in detention.  I mean they made it look cool to get a detention and made it look like it was a great opportunity.  I mean people in the movies have one of three things happen to them while there in detention.  They either falls in love, meet there best friend, or have some amazing adventure that changes there life.  But I have learned that Hollywood is trying to deceive us, detention is not a good thing it is simply a big giant pain in the butt.
Now the reason I got detention was because I was vandalizing the school.  I had taken spray paint and covered the hole left side of the school building late at night.  I also broke several windows with giant rocks and was planning on setting something on fire.  Unforchently the cameras caught me and i got stuck in detention. Just Joking I got a detention for wearing a sweatshirt that was not school approved.  Boring but true.  Anyway, this meant that I was going to have to wake up at 5:30 so that I could be at school by seven.  So that’s how my morning went and all was fine except one little fact I was late.  Now here is some advice do not ever be late for detention it just gets you into more trouble.  I mean I was speeding all the way to school; I ran to the building and thought to myself I made it just in time.  Boy was I wrong, he gave me one look and said" Your late come again on Friday morning because this does not count" if he had not been huge and scary I would have hit him.  And it was probably a good thing because I am pretty sure I would have gotten more than a detention if I had. Anyway, I was not a happy camper so I stormed out of the school, and headed back to my car muttering under my breath the whole way.  Now I know that this is life, but I will and met I was not taking it well.  I then ran in to one of my teachers, who praise be to God was on my side, because she went into his office and totally got me some grace.  Now it just so happens that this is not one of my favorite teachers, but as of today i love her.  Anyway so my new detention plan was that I had to go eat in his office and then go pick up trash in the lunch area.  Which would have been fine but my friends keep pointing out piece of trash and making fun of me.  And one friend told me that i had made her day.  So all in all I think it is time I get new friends, because my old ones took way to much joy out of watching me suffer.

Well now that detention is over and my goal for never getting a detention in my life now ruined I have to say I was disappointed.  For three reasons I did not get an exciting adventure, or find a best friend, or fall in love.  All I got was laughed at thanks people, thanks.

So I want to give a small blurb of what I will be writing about Sunday which will be my Prom. So tune in then for that story.

Dancing in the Storm

Blogging, a way for me to write what I am thinking.  A way to get what is going on inside me out into the open so that the world can read it, relate to it, amd maybe be inspired by it.  But what am i suppose to do when something that is going on in side me is to complicated to put into words. When I myself am not sure how I feel because i feel every emotion.  O the joys of being a girl got to love it.  the other day I had a class mate ask me if I liked being a girl.  My response "its better then being a boy", but I just might take that back. Boys do not have emotions that have minds of there own or nearly the drama that girls seem to deal with.  Boys do not have to get up an hour before school, so that they can fancy themselves up to look good. Also Boys don't have to have children and all that goes with that.  Lucky dogs..  I mean it looks pretty good to be a boy form were I am sitting.  haha but then you could look at it from this point of view.. Boys don'y get the feeling of having a life growing inside them and the bond that comes with that.  Boys don't get the freedom of having a good cry over nothing and the cleansing feeling that comes with that.  Boys don't get to experience the bond that a girl shares with her best friend because of the drama they went through together. And boys don't get the exciting feeling of finding a new dress that you look fabulous in and knowing that you look hot in it.  If they do then they may have a problem.

The point that I am trying to make is that this week my emotions have run circles around me.  At times I feel so depressed and helpless were as other times I have such a positive look on things.  God has done a lot of teaching this week and some of  the things he had to shown me have been hard to take. I am learning that God is the only thing that can satisfy me. That he is the only thing that really gives me a sense of stability.

I have grown up in a Christain home and have heard this all my life, but it is not tell everything in your life seems pointless and when your strenght and joy run out.  Do you really learn what a rock God can be.  I am so glad he does not change.  It is also funny how he is the last person I run to for comfort.

Last night i finally came to him with my heart, sometimes just being real with God is the most freeing thing a person could do.  Now I am not saying my joy has come washing back I still have this attitude thing going on right now, but it has sent me dancing in the rain.

What I mean by that is this... It is storming right now and the rain is falling and I just stopped blogging and went and danced in the rain. Literally  Not sure why i just like doing spontaneous things, makes my life more colorful.  But I feel like if we just stop looking at life like storm and instead look at it as a time to dance even if its not what we feel we will be refreshed.  I had a friend ask me "Tabi what is it you want" and the truth is I am learning what I want and that is to dance in the storm.  I am not sure what i am saying is making much sense but it makes sense to me and I hope It may help others who might feel this way.

I mean if your board with life remember God has plans and if you fallow him out into what looks like a storm you may just end up dancing.

The Lunch Box

O goodness, I have not written in more than two weeks. And i am not sure what to write, simply because I have so much to choose from.  There are several reason that i have not blogged in so long.  The first is that last week was super busy with Mardi Gras break.  So we had all kinds of family down, friends over, and and I had to work and earn the green stuff. Which is money by the way.  And because I was so busy I put blogging off, and that was not a good idea because then it got overwhelming and now I have not blogged in two weeks. The second is that when I first began my blogs I made a promise to be as truthful and real as possible, but I also told myself that I could not write my blog if I was mad or upset.  I would not want to post something that I would regret saying latter.  Which is a big reason that I have not blogged in forever.

Now none of you need to worry, me being upset was simple me pouting and feeling sorry for myself.  Which we all tend to have days like that, so nobody judge. I have learned that the key to over coming days like those, are to have them and then move on, wwhich finally today I have been able to do.  Thanks to Leah love ya girl.

So here I am sitting in a house that is empty and blogging.  I love love love love love love love love love time 300000, when I get the house to myself.  One word comes to mind PARTY !!! Kiiiiiiiidding, I am way to scared of my parents to throw a pary with out there permition and I really don't know enough people to have a party.  You can call me a geek, but... Ok ya I am geek. Anyhow, I really do like having the house to myself, there is a seance of freedom that comes with it.  I can watch, what I want to watch, eat what I want to eat, or talk to myself as loud as I want to because there is nobody around.  OO life is good. but unfortunately this day of being home alone was spent risking my life by cleaning out my lunch boxes and yes i said lunch boxes.

Let me explain,  see I like school, sometimes it can be a pain in the butt but ,all in all, I enjoy it.  I like the teachers who are not trying to destroy my life and most of my class mates who are not involved with immature drama, and learning thing about life and other pointless subjects.  It is a great way to spend 14 years of my life. :) But the thing about school that I am going to focus on is the the dreaded lunch box.  Now this has not been an enemy of mine for along time.  My mother was kind enough not to expose me to the trauma that the box can inflict.  She wanted me to be older be for I had to deal with that.  So she always packed the lunch box, but not this year.  This year was my turn.  See my school lunches are crap, I mean if your suicidal then there great ,but I would like to live, so I pack a lunch everyday.  Now I do have to get up every morning ten minutes earlyer and I do have to scavenge the pantry for food to but in the box, but the worst part of packing lunches is the unpacking.  Or I'm my cases the not unpacking.  I think we all now were this is going.

See I have a very bad habit of forget to unpack the lunch box.   But I have learned that there are many people who struggle with this and are looking for help so I am here.  I have come to lend my expertise in over coming the unpacked lunch box. Which I will break up into several steps

Step one:  Picking the right time to unpack the Box.  See if you are anything like me than this is how it goes down.  I tend to throw my box into my room after school and it sits there for several days.  I then will trip over it and then remember that it is there.  I then wait for my mother not to be in the house because I really don't want her to know that my lunch has been sitting in my room for several days.  But then if your like me you forget again.  Now here is some advice that I pray you take. do not, I repeat ,do not let your box sit there for three months.  Yes I have done it and I assure you it will not be a pleasant sight. Also the day you empty the box should be on trash day so that you can get ride of the trash before your mother sees it.  I also suggest not eating any time before the task.

Step two: Admitting that the box needs to be cleaned and bringing it to the box to the kitchen and remember this is a time when your mother is not around.  Now if your box has not been cleaned for more than a month I suggest throwing the whole thing in the outside trash. Not the kitchen trash because your mom will see it and  ask about it and then your done for. But if you can not through it away then the you need to start the pep talk.  Which brings us to step three

Step three: Stare down.  This is the time that I stare at the box wishing with all my might that it would just disappear or that I had not waited so long.  This is also the time that you prepare for what is in the box.  I like to do a little dance and do my gaging because once that box is open there will be no time for gaging or throwing up so get that all out of the way now.   This is also the time to talk smack to the box, tell it how you feel an how you will win this match.  How that box is going down.  Then boost your self up, tell your self that you got this and once you have given your self the courage and confidence it will time to dive in.

Step four: Now this is the hardest step which is the cleaning.  Now once that boxes comes open all that courage and confidence will run out the door and you will want to do the same.  My best advice is.. hold breath and do not think.  Throw away what you can, rinse the box, rinse the containers.  I made the mistake of thoroughgoing the containers away and my mother found them and made me go get them out of the trash and clean them out.  So just do the container cleaning right  away and get it done with.  About half way through this step leave the kitchen and breath again.  Then run back into the kuchen and finish.

Step five: Once the box has been empty and wiped down you must began the the cleaning up part.  But first start breathing and let the dizziness past.  Understand that the dizzy feeling is normal and happens to us all. Then it is time to take out the trash and wash the kitchen sink. Also I suggest spraying lots and I mean lots of frebeeze.  Then look at that box and say I have defeated you.  Then go throw up in the bathroom, but feel good because you got through it.

If a person follows these step then they should be able to have a peaceful; relationship thim there Lunch Box.  Remember you are the boss not the box.  You will win not it. Well that's it for now so...

Are my lights dimming?

So I am board out of my mind right now.  At this very moment, I am sitting in computer class with nothing to do.  See I take a virtual school and that allows me to do my work at my own pace, so I have gotten everything done and now I need to fill my time.  So I decided to blog.  I feel kind of daring right now because I am doing it during class, I  am such a rebel. Ok so maybe that's not that rebellious but whatever.

It has been a few days since I last blogged so I will splitting this blog up into days.  First day was Monday, and that was the day that I finished my  CSI training and did my first covert operation.  It was pretty intense but it all ended well. Unfortunately, that's all the information that I can give. If I was to give you any more information then that I would have to kill you.

The second day was Tuesday and it was a little more normal then Monday but just as exciting.  I went to school and not much happened there. School was school.  But my day really picked up when I got to go to the eye doctor.  Ok so I am going to take a few minutes to talk about the eye doc.  It is one of the most uncomfortable doctor to go to.  Why? Well, because It is the only doctor that stairs you directly in the eyes .  And it is never for just a few seconds It always feels like for ever.  Like the guy can't get enough of looking in your eye balls.   Every time he does it I always think of the quote the "eyes are windows to the soul."  I mean when ever he looks me in the eye I feel like he is see straight into my soul.  It makes me nervous.  O and lets talk about the fact that eye doctors do not understand personal space I mean there always way to close to your face.   If my eye doctor was hot, I could lean forward and give him a kiss, but he is not, which is just my luck.  So kissing him would be revolting and would cause me to puck.  Anyway, so this doctor makes me nervous which means I do my nervous laugh.  I am sure you all know what I mean.  Its the laugh you do when someone says something and you laugh and smile, but in your head your thinking "What or that was a dumb joke", but your to nervous not to laugh.   And you end up leaving that situation with the people think that you are just the happiest person because you were laughing and smiling the whole time, but in reality you were think about how dumb or awkward that person was and were wishing the whole time that it was time to leave.  Well that is how my eye doctor always goes.  That particular  appointment I had to get these drops in my eye which cause my eyes to be sensitive to light, so I had to sit 20 min in a dark room by myself.  It was loads of fun.  And towards the end I really thought he forgot me in there, which made me wonder if he had ever done that? Once the doc was over with I headed to  get my hair done.  Now that went well, and my hair is very short right now.  but I like it.  Now I know most girls like getting there hair cut, but I hate it.  Not sure why.  I mean I love my hair after it is cut but i hate getting it done.  I think it because I don't know the person who could totally hack my hair to pieces if they wished to.  Or could totally make me the person who wears a paper bag to school.  But it turned out alright, so no worries.  then that evening my grandparent flew in from Nebraska and are planning on staying tell Monday.

The next day was Wednesday.  I was sent to a place by the government to try and talk them out of a war between us and them.( can't tell you the place)  At first it did not go well, and I thought I was going to have to kill them all, but I eventually won them over when I told them that the government would send then over 700 pounds of snicker bars.  they could not say no to that..

Then came Thursday which was the day of our fine arts field trip.  Now I love field trips but this trip was interesting. It began with the beloved bus ride.  We  loaded up in that yellow prison transportation vertical and were waiting to get going but first came  the lecture.  If you were ever in high school then you now what I am talking about.  It is the talk that your teacher or who ever is going to lead the trip gives so that your scared out of your mind to do anything bad, like breathing.  Once that lecture was given and we had all changed our pants, we headed out. The plan was to go see a play of Beauty and the Beast at a local college.  Now if I was writing a play review I would have to say that it, well sucked.  I mean it was bad really really bad.  The whole play was preformed by a totally of six actors who played all the parts and  made there own songs.  Now about half we through the play I took a moment to stop and look at my class mates around me .  Half of them were asleep or had there head in there the other half was mocking or making fun of the play even my disciplinarian who had come on the trip was fast a sleep.  Once the play was over we all stood up and gave them a standing ovation.  Why? because it was finally over and we were all about to die.  It was a funny sight to see about 50 or so, teenagers run for the door.  We then headed to the mall were we were going to get lunch at the food court.  When everyone was done we were able to rome the mall.  Me and some friends found a bench and people watched the people go by.  I think the favorite person I sew was a little Spanish lady who was tacking out the trash.  She stopped in the middle of her job and pulled out a sucker.  She then sat there looking at all the people sucking on her sucker.  For like twenty min, she was a hoot. She was more interesting then the play was.  the rest of the day was us coming home and then me helping get ready for the the art show that would be that night.  Which by the way went well and was pretty fun.  We had a bunch of people show up and a great  table of food.  Over half the people sold paintings too, so allot of money was made.  Thanks everybody who came.

Friday which was when I started this blog, but the bell rang and i had to finish up now.  The biggest story that happened on Friday starts like this.  The bell finally rang at 3:10 and me and Bethany( who is my car pool Buddie) head to the car very excited because it was the last day of school for nine days.  Got to love Marti Gras break.  Any way we had to run to my car because it was poring down ran.  We quickly climbed in too the car and I put the key in the ignition, but nothing happened.  Because this little lady forgot to turn off her lights off so they were on all day and my battery was now dead.  Just my luck right.  I would have normally had called my dad but it just so happens that my parents were out of town that day.  so there I was stuck in my car in the back parking lot of the school with pouring rain and me hitting my head on the steering wheel out of frustration.  I ended up having to go to the office of the school and ended up having to find someone with jumper cables to come jump start my car.  The gentleman  that helped me with my car told me i needed to watch my light and if they started to dime then I needed to pull over and call someone.  So the hole way home i was looking at my lights and asking Bethany if she thought my lights were dimming.   So they were we were in rain, driving slow, and ever ten seconds I was freaking out trying to see my lights.  Bethany was sure I had lost it.  Her response was Tabi I think the light in your head has gone off.

Well that was my week and it was a pretty great one.  But next week should be much better, because there is no school.  And life is just better when there is no school.  And when you don't leave the lights on in your car.

Yoga.. again

Ok so have tried to type this newest post like five times but I either keep being called away of find that I just am not in the mood to write.  But at the moment I am in the zone and the words are ready to flow.  That was cheesy sorry.  It has been awhile sense my last post which was Thursday I believe.  So I have allot of thing to write about so this may be a pretty long post.  And if you don't like it well then you don't have to read it. But I know that you all do because what I have to say is super important and your lives would not be complete with out it. :)

Well, have been trying to decide were  began this post and I think I should start with the story that everyone wants to here and that is how my Yoga class went on Saturday.  Well you will all be glad to here that I did not get stuck in a pose or have to be rushed to a hospital but my pride level was brought way down.  But I am getting a head of myself.  Best to start at the beginning.

I woke up at nine o clock on a Saturday morning which is a miracle for me.  The only things that gets me up that early on a Saturday are one of three things. Either that the house is on fire or I have work or we have donuts for breakfast.  I love those little pieces of fat and I think they love me to because they will stick to my hips and never leave until I run like 400 miles.  Anyway, so I had gotten up early so that I would be ready to leave the house at ten and would not be late for my class.  Now I was not planning on going to yoga on my own.  See my mother was going to go with me, but about ten min before I left she asks if I would be ok if she baled.  Know I thought that would be fine because I was planning on meeting up with a friend who was going to go with me so that I would not feel completely stupid and that way I would have someone to laugh with.  So I said that was fine and I headed to my car, which by the way is father then i had gotten last Saturday so I was making progress. I then drove the two minutes to the YMCA and parked.   I then head in to the building.  I was a little bit early so I decided to run on  the treadmil for a little while before class started.  I figured that would be better plan then sitting in a room all by myself, waiting.  So that is what I did for the time being.  So as I was walking on the treadmill I saw several little old lady come in and head to the room with there yoga mats.  Now at this point it was evident that my friend would not be coming, she did say there was a chance that she would not show so I was going to have to conqueror my fear by myself.  Now i will admit the idea to stay on the treadmill and not go to yoga crossed my mind but I was not about to let my fear win, not this Saturday.  So I gave myself a quick pep talk, jumped off the treadmill and with my head held high I entered the yoga class.  Well as I entered throught the door my courage fled.  Why you ask? Well for several reasons.  First because there were a total of eight lady's in the room and all were older then 56. Except for one girl who was about 27. Yep I was the youngest.  The second was because the whole room was covered in mirrors.  Great I thought to myself now i can see every angle of myself as i try to preform the pose. It must be my lucky day. ( I was being a sarcastic)  So I quickly grabbed a mat and headed to the far corner in the back and tried not to make eye contact with any of the old lady's. Because it was only a matter of time before they all new I was there and would try to help me get unstuck.

Any how I then laid out my mat and took my shoes off. It was at that moment that I decided to check out the competition in the room.  the girl who was 27 was in front of me and she totally looked like the new ages type.  She wore leggings and a tank that were earthy colors and had a flower tattoo on her big toe.  To my right was a little old lady who wore scrubs and a big baggy T shirt.  I latter learned that she was the best in the class and would show off by preforming freaky and inhuman moves.  There were others in the class but those were the two next to me.   Then the class began, now I have to say that those little old lady totaly ran circle around me.  We had to do certain posses that nearly killed me. i have never had a teacher or in this case a yoga teacher look at me with eyes full of pity.  I would see her looking at me and then see would give me a smile that said you   poor, poor dear.  But about half way through I fond that I was enjoying myself.  It is quite relaxing and I found myself praying and talking to God.  I have to admit the idea for running out the door was tempting exspecaly during the down word dog pose.  So I ended up trying to focus on other things.  But then my mind wondered to the mat I was using and that just grossed me out.  I mean this was a mat that other sweaty lady's had used and they were all barefoot.  Ya so I almost pucked when I thought for that so I decidedd to just focus on the breathing but that almost made me pass out.  I mean I really got light headed.  anyway what I am trying to say was that It was a pretty long hour, but I still pain on going next Saturday, because my new dream in life is to someday do better than that little old lady so that I can look her straight in the eyes and yell HA I win grandma! at the end of  the class I quickly put on my shoes and headed home.  Proud that I went and laughing at what those ladys would be thinking of me.

The rest of the week was not nearly as intoresting.  Sunday I went and had lunch with two friends and went goodwilling for costumes for the play in fine arts.  Then today could have been better.  I was grumpy because I was not feeling great and was having a pity party for myself.  But I had several friends who tried to brighten my day by either letting me use there pretty pen or making me a braclet.  I find that love is shown the best through the little things like those.  Thanks guys and sorry I was suck a crab today.  But I have to say that the thing that really put me in check was the story about the little 11 year old girl that has hair all over her body.  See with lupus I tend to have allot of hair loss so my hair looks bad, but I guess I would rather that then being like the 11 year old.  So will stop complaining and be thatnkful.  well i think that is all I am going to say   to night because I need to do my homework yet.

My mind and thats it

I am afraid this blog probable will not be very funny.  I am feeling a little bit more serious today.  Probable because I have alot going on in my mind. It is like a whirl wind of stick notes in there.  I remember one time  were i had a friend who said she could see my mind as a room full of random stick notes suck all over the walls.  It made me laugh because its true.  I am so random that that has to be what it looks like in there.

At the moment, I am sitting at your little bar, counter thingy typing on the laptop.  My little brother ,Chasy boy, is doing his homework and Ethan my other brother is playing out side with his new friend that just moved in the neighborhood.  My father just walked into the house because he just finished up work.  And the first thing he did was to go in to the kitchen and kiss my mom.  :) There so cute I hope I have a marriage like they do. Not that there marriage has been easy, but it is easy to tell that they love each other.  And they put the other one first before themselves.

I have to say the biggest thing on my mind would have to be collage.   I go to a school that were all we here twenty- four seven is about collage how are grades affect it, or what we should do in the future. I have to admit that most of the time I tune them out.  I always say to myself that's in the future no need to worry about it now.   Or it makes me stressed so i don't think about it much.  But not any more because I have only a year and three months until I am out there in the world.  I am getting excited a little, but still a little nervous. But at the same time so ready to tackle this thing and pin it. (That's a wrestling thing)  Which reminds me, my cousin Isaac who got state in wrestling, way to go man!!!!  You should have seen my mom she was yelling at the computer as we watched.  It was pretty funny.

Another thing on my mind, is this summer.  I am planning on taking a collage class, working, and maybe traveling.  I heard about this thing were I would get payed to come and teach kids how to do art.  Which I would love to do because I am thinking about becoming an art teacher, that or a journalist.  Two very different things, but both things that I love. As for traveling, I might get to go to New York this summer which is one of those things on my bucket list.  And I have a very big buck list, I mean I am going to spend my whole life just trying to finish it.  I plan to go sky diving, take a boat across the Nile, and back pack Europe.  I hope to accomplish the backpacking after I graduate.  Me and my cousins will go, but were still in the process of praying and saving money for it.

Today was only a half day at school.  Praise the Lord.  I love half days. The only thing I love more then a half day is a whole day off or a Italian turtle cookie. If it was legal I would marry a turtle cookie. Though that would probable not work because I would eat it and I am pretty sure that would be bad for are marriage. Anyway, so I came home and went on the computer and bought some new songs and danced to them in my room like a dork, but it was fun.  I also went through my closet and put outfits together. Which is like shopping but with out spending money.  O that's another thing I love shopping.  when I am stressed I like to go get an icy and walk around target.  Its great therapy, and it only cost 1$ for the icy.   When I say shop I really mean play.  I go through the clothes, but I also play with the toys in the kid part.  I also like ready all the card in the card isle. and what ever else i can find to entertain myself in the store.

I have two things that I am looking forward to these next two weeks.  I have a art show on the third of March and it is at the  St. Tammany Homestead 205 N Columbia St Covington La. It is from 7 to 9 .  You should come people, there are three reasons why.  The first is because its art and that exciting.  The second is there is free food and you can't go wrong with free food.  The third is the biggest reason and that is that I  will be there and it does not get much better then that. :) The second thing that I have been looking forward to is our fine arts project which is putting on Beauty and the Best.  We have worked our butts off for it.  The script people have done great in writing it, love working with you all.  The scene people have also done great the scenes look fantastic.  And the costume people have out done themselves the costumes are so cute.  And last but not lest the props people, love the book.  Keep up the great work.  We should win a grammy for this thing.

Well I had a friend today point out that I always start my stories with the word so, but not on  today's blog so hahah. I win :) and I think I will be done writing for tonight. O one more thing, if you take the time to read this and like it will you please be a follower so that I can get an idea of how many people our reading these things.  Thanks

Laughter

So i am writing again even though I have written twice this week already.  I guess I just enjoy this blog to much.  It probable is not a good sign when writing on a blog is what you look forward to all day. That probable is a clue that I should get a life. Haha Any how, so here I am sitting in my room trying to decide were to begin this blog.  I guess the best place to start would be my lovely morning that I woke up to.

See my plan was to wake up at 5 so that I could study for a history test that I would have earlier that day. So the night before I went to bed I  put the music on that I wanted to wake up to and had made sure that time was set to 5 am and had even checked to see if the volume of the clock was at the right place.  But I think we all now what happen.  Yep, that's right, my alarm clock feel asleep on the freaking job.  I woke up not at 5 but at 6;30 which is thirty minuets before I have to leave the house.  So in other words, no studying got done.  But it is an amazing thing to watch how fast a person can get ready, eat breakfast, and pack a lunch when they have only a few minutes before they have to be out the door.  I was really impressed with myself.  But am still really up set at my clock were not speaking at the moment.  So because my alarm was the one to fall asleep on the job its me that has to pay for it.  I am the one that is late for school, looks like she just got hit by a truck, and does not so hot on the history test.  So thanks alarm clock, THANKS

So that alarm clock got me in to a bad mood and I had decided to talk about the things that annoyed me in my blog t night.   I was going to go on and on about how unfair the world was. But you will never guess what I did.  As I was thinking in my mind about all the things that annoyed me and how I was going to put a funny twist on them I ended up cracking my self up.  And my horrible day turned out to be one full of laughter. It started when I picked up my car pool Buddie that morning.  I really don't remember what it was we were laughing at all a remember was having a hard time driving because I was laughing so hard.  The next laughing attack I had was in my lovely chemistry class.  Now most of you are prabable thinking how in the world can chemistry be funny.  Well its not but i have some great friend s in that class and we have mastered the art of making it through  without dieing and that has lead to several fun jokes and moments of laughter.  Then came lunch.  OO lunch.  Lets see how do i tell this story.

Well I guess I should begin by telling you all that I  were braces and I hate them with every once of hatred in my body.  I mean they tear up the inside of your mouth and never say sorry.   Food gets stuck in them and they hurt. The make you look ridiculous and they are the reason your family calls you metal mouth.  And yes that last part is true.  Pity me.  Anyway, so there i was at lunch sitting at my table with my friend enjoying my lunch.  Now the lunch was going pretty good we were all laughing and joking when all of a sudden one of my rubber bands pops in my mouth as I am eating my cantaloupe.  i want to be some what polite so i was trying to find the band with out have to use my fingers. But making ridiculous faces as I am doing so.  When all of a sudden to my horror I believed that I had just swallowed my rubber band.  Any way I freeze with a look of horror on my face because it can so not be good for you to swallow one of those things. Thats when I notice all my friends a hunched over laughing because they thought it was funny to watch me freak out that i had swallowed my band..  Well to my releafe it was a false alarm I did not swallow the band, but If I had and died I am pretty sure they would have all felt bad for laughing.

The next laughing spasm was when me and a friend shared childhood memories.  Now some of those memories were so embarrassing that she has asked me not to repeat them but lets just say that I started crying I was laughing so hard and I had to slow the car down in her neighborhood so we would not die in a car accident.   I mean they were soooo funny.  Hey Buddie did you find any more snakes.... HAHAHAH I am still laughing over it.

The final laughing moment was another story.  This one takes place with me and my dog Lucy.  I try to go walk about thirty min to an hour every day so that I am some what healthy.  I usually take my dog with me so that I don't look like some crazy girl that walks around the same street by herself, and talking to herself.  I find that when i do that I scare the neighborhood children.  So I take me dog with me.  Well we were walking and I had an idea.  I was going to close my eyes and let my dog lead me that way I could see what it was like to be blind.  Now I did this for a few minutes, but then my brain started working again.  I mean lets think about this situation.  I had my eyes closed and was letting my dog who is known for flipping out when she sees squirls lead me.  She like loses it and will use all her strength to run after those guys.   So that means either one of two things will happen.  Either my dog will see the squirl and take of running.  Which will lead to my shoulder being pulled out of its socket and me getting drug with her as she runs after the little nut eater.  I would probable end up tripping and landing on my face which will give me a broken nose.  Or she will see the squirl and take of running which will cause me to let go of the leash.  I would then have to run after her calling her name over and over again trying to gain control.  I would not succeed and I would end up tripping ove rmy own feet and falling on my face and breaking my nose.  So either way I would end up with a broken nose.  With all this going through my brain I quickly opened my eyes and not a moment to  soon because guess what ran by.  Yep a squirl.  We ended up seeing three squirls on our walk today.

The first one I was ready for and nothing much happened.  The second one I lost the leash and had to chase after her.  And the third one well turned my dog in to a half white and half black mix.  See I pulled hard on the leash as she was jumping across a ditch and it caused her to land in a the ditch which made her back side covered in mud.  So now I have a mix bread of a dog. Front side white, back side black. It was a very exiting walk.

Well that was my day.  Its crazy how your day can either be good or bad it all just depends on how you look at things.  And it I am thankful for one thing to day I would have to be laughter.  thanks Lord for making Laughter.  Because It really made my day :)

It could happen

So I was planning on only writing a post about once a week, but honestly I could not wait that long to write again.  So all day I was looking forward to posting and I was thinking about what I would write.  My day was not really that exciting.  It was spent getting chores and other tasks done.  Like laundry, cleaning the bathroom, tiding up my room, things of that nature.  But one funny little thing did happen that really made me spot and laugh.

And that little thing was Yoga.  Yes yoga, let me explain.  See i was diagnosed with Lupus in August and sense then I have been doing research on how to take care of myself and ways to keep my Lupus from acting up.  And one thing that I have read over and over again in article after article is that physical fitness is a big part of that. That means I had to find some sort of exercise that would be good for me, but not hard on my joints.   the answer was Yoga.  So today was to be my first yoga class.  I was to get up about about nine o clock, put on  my work out clothes and head to the gym.   But unfortunately things that involve me doing any thing athletic are not that easy for me.  If you were one of my classmates, that went to PE with me, you would be nodding your head in agreement and crying your eyes out with laughter. Just remembering that time I  tyred to catch a ball and it landing in my face.  See, God has blessed me with a very artistic side.  I love drawing, painting, acting and writing.  But when it came to my athletic ability's God decided that it would be funny to not give me any.  I think it makes him laugh to watch me try and play volleyball.  I know my friends love watching me try :)

Any how, so the idea of going to this yoga class really had me nerves.  And I keep having this vision  play itself over and over in my mind.  I could see myself walking in to the room and finding a back corner some were and laying out my little yoga mat.  I would be surrounded by little old lady's who have just gotten hip replacements and hippies trying to become one with the universe.  Then the instructor would come skipping into the room and she would begin the lesion with breathing exercise.  I would do fine with those, but I would start having trouble when she decides to have us all do some stupid pose that involved putting your left leg around your neck or standing on your head.  I could then see myself looking  around the room and seeing every little old lady attempting this feet and seceding.  Now I am 18 and could not let those old lady's out do  me so I to would try to do the pose as well. Only I would either end out pulling something or getting stuck.  My day would end with me being rushed to the hospital and having four doctors trying to get my left foot  out from behind my neck, and I could see all those little old lady's laughing at me.  You probable think I am exaggerating but the truth is I am not, something like this would really happen to me.

So I chickened out and ended up just walking around the neighborhood with my lovely little Lucy( she is my dog) and she won't laugh at me if I trip while I am walking.  lol. But don;t worry I plan to try to go to yoga next Saturday so if there is no post that day it was probably because i was stuck in some weird position and unable to type.  Well with that story told I think I should probably hit the hay and get some shut eye. s

Here we go

So I have no idea were to start.  Should I began with a hello, or a funny little joke?  Maybe an introduction to who I am would be more appropriate.  But non of that really sounds right.  So I have ended up just hitting the backspace button over and over again trying to come up with a killer beginning to this blog.  When I decided to write this blog I told myself I was going to be super honest.  I mean all my feelings will go out on to the blog and I was going to talk about what is really going on in my head.  Not sure why anyone would want to read that, but I am doing it for more for myself then anyone.   It going to be a kind of therapy for me.  To vent, laugh, or simple just to talk about the most random things in the world.   And who knows maybe it will make someone laugh out there in this big wide world.
